About The Bird Shed
In 2001, The Bird Shed began as a small company, running its operations out of the basement of a private home. The company was started mainly to satisfy the curiosity and love of bird watching.
Since 2001, The Bird Shed has grown into a nationally successful birding and outdoor supply company, offering 7000 + products to bird and nature lovers.
Over the course of our success, we have tried to keep the most important facet of this hobby as our mission statement. To protect and aid nature in a positive way, is what we base our decisions on each day. With declining bird populations, due to sprawl and growing housing markets, as well as, pollution, experts and researchers have stated that providing nesting sites and feeders for a variety of birds and backyard wildlife can help to protect declining species.

Shipping charges will not be credited on refused orders and orders with bad or incorrect addresses, additionally the customer will incur all shipping charges, even if the order was sent out with free shipping.
Actual outbound (from The Bird Shed to the customer) shipping charges will not be credited on any returned item or items, this includes, customers that purchased an item or items with a free shipping offer, or The Bird Shed Special Shipping offer.
Example 1: If you return an order that totaled $112.95 and the shipping cost to you is $0.00, but the actual UPS or USPS shipping charges incurred by The Bird Shed was $12.95, you will be credited $100.00.
Example 2: If you return an order that totaled $47.95 and the shipping cost to you is $7.95, but the actual UPS or USPS shipping charges incurred by The Bird Shed was $7.95, you will be credited $40.00.
The Bird Shed does not credit freight for returns from a customer to The Bird Shed. Any additional administration fee's that may occur to complete a transaction will also be charged to the customer.

The Bird Shed uses UPS for all air shipments, The Bird Shed calculates shipping charges based on weight,destination and type of service requested.
ALL SHIPPING SERVICES ARE CALCULATED USING BUSINESS DAYS.

An order with a service of "UPS Next Day Air Saver" that is placed on a Friday after 12:00 pm will not ship until Monday of the following week and will not be delivered until Tuesday.
